I preordered the normal one.

 

It works, use the LCA one or whatever it is, that's based for offline mode, I made a shit ton between DEM & REDWOOD after the shooting of the jurors.

 

Yeah it freezes for about 10 secs then carrys on fine for me, it may freeze once every 3 hours for some reason...

 

Yeah I know, but for the best profit the stocks on BAWSAQ are a hell load better

 

Mine is a bit more severe.

My game will freeze and then auto-restart, forcing me to do one of his missions again.

 

Anyone having issues with shadows and darkness looking strange on 360?

I can provide a pic when I'm home from work later, but by strange I mean... not normal, blocky and purple/blue/grey.

Anyway, best game I've played in a LONG time!

I'm extremely far in the story plot and have yet to see any issues aside from the occasional freeze glitch with Trevor.

The story was not nearly as long as i hopped it to be, quite short, unfortunately. I only had 12 hours into it, hopefully they allow me to do side missions still, currently watching the credits.

 

Yeah I was disappointed in how short the story was. I suppose they put more focus on what will keep people playing after the story is complete.

On a side note, I'd marry Trevor. Fucking hero.

 

yeah only like 69 missions or so. I kept thinking how a game with those graphics but the storyline of San Andreas would be. Trevor is my favourite character too lol.

 

A lot of people dislike Trevor; I have no idea. He's my favorite character..I just like his personality. He's an asshole who disrespects people but makes sure everyone respects him.

 

How's everyone getting on with online? Any news? I can't even access it I think Xbox is working but PS3 is fucked imo. Post if you managed to get online & also what console your using. I knew there was obviously going to be some issues but not this bad that they can't even get the servers up, they knew how popular the game was/is to be honest.

 

Trevor always provides the lols in the cut-scenes and is a very funny character. Michael's family pisses me off but he is quite a bad ass. I also love listening to Franklin and Lamar talking.

 

Well I'll start playing it whenever it arrives on PC. Which hopefully shouldn't be too long.

 

Modders should have a field day with it.

Have they confirmed it'll be released on PC yet?

Rented the game for a week from last night, I wanted to buy it, but I didn't wanna have it while I had exams that start in two weeks so decided to get it now and play now while studying. I still can't believe the graphics, although the only GTA I've played before is Vice City.

 

Don't think they've confirmed the date yet but they'll lose out on so much money if they don't release it for the PC. Apparently they won't be releasing it for the next gen consoles for a year or so - probably to update the graphics to utilize the better machines. My guess is that is when they'll release the PC version.
